I do have one thing to say about CS though. When CS 3, comes out, it will be the greatest online FPS, no doubt. Valve knows what they're doing, and they know what their customers want.

Isn't old at all? It came out in 2004, the mechanics and the engine are COMPLETELY outdated, newer games such as MW2/BC2/BlOps are far superior any day, there's no arguing that. The only thing you can dispute is that you personally enjoy CS more. Find some real players and the CoD games become more difficult. Obviously if you're just playing random pub players it's simple, just like CS.

You've clearly never tried and are pulling shit out of your ass. The aim assist is what makes quickscoping so simple on consoles. Otherwise, nobody would be complaining so much. When was the last time you've seen a thread full of PC players complaining about quickscoping?

You're ruining quickscoping for everyone because Treyarch has been taking measures against quickscoping, such as the lengthened time after you scope in with a sniper rifle where hipfire accuracy is retained (Currently only on Xbox, but probably coming to other systems.).

EDIT: And removing Sleight of Hand on snipers.
EDIT2: And before you guys try and pull the "You're just butthurt because you can only get kills by quickscoping" card, I've never quickscoped


CS and CS:S were great games in their time, but are completely outdated. MW2/Black Ops/BC2 are much better in every way, I don't understand why anybody still plays the CS games.

I can easily get 20+ kills on a game of TDM, and usually more, without the ****ing aim assist.

I wasn't aware that you could turn off the aim assist. Also, Treyarch hasn't made it just a bit more challenging, it's nearly impossible. That's no way to treat your customers. "Hmm, they enjoy doing this. Fuck them".

When you ask the question "Who cares?", the console market cares, which is what I'm getting at. They've based they're actions on what one portion of the market would like to happen with the game.

Wrong, it's completely possible, and it's not that hard to do, you do know that they've released patches that include fixes for quickscoping, right?

They haven't re-patched. Snipers retain hipfire accuracy for a small amount of time after scoping in, making it extremely difficult to quickscope.
