Well I find that you shouldnt look at the arrows all the time and looking at the screen in the center will just let you flow wit it. I can pass Micro Vivace or watever its called but I still cant get all Perfect and Good. There are very few people that can!

On piss poor computers ive done some above guru only level songs with no miss easily because the arrows goes soooo slow

I remember the first time I was able to finish Hellbeat.

Anyway, I dunno if it'll help, but what I always do if there are a whole bunch of arrows grouped together is kinda divide them up in sections, if you have time. (I hope that makes sense... <_> ) If you notice, you're pretty much doing a few simple patterns together, like in easier songs, sorta.. It works for me.

Also, as everyone else is saying, just practice. Like, I tried Hellbeat when I could only do 'standard' stuff.. and failed. Then I went away from that and practiced other songs, came back and passed it okay.

I think we can all see the final message. Play more and you will "magically" get better. Play even more and you will continue to get better. Continue in this fashion until you can play Uber Rave with your nose... and only then should you quit.

Okay, I've beaten all the "dance" songs, and playing more does not mean you will get better. If you keep playing easy songs - and even to the point that you can combo them - you probably still won't be able to beat a hard one. You have to keep practicing on the song you're stuck on to get better.

Yes, exaclty, play songs you know you do badly on until you dont do too badly on them, then until you can do them ok, then until you can do them well, THEN move on to a harder one. You will be able to come back and destroy the same songs if you can beat ones that are twice as hard.

I can actually pass runny morning. every time I play it now. 338545 is my current high score. gets 6 credits. LOTS OF PRACTICE. I've never played stepmania, but I went up in difficulty in the arcade section starting with the mario song, to zelda, then ff7 and last, 4f73R M3. after that i started doing really well. 10 credits per play on 4f73R M3 and ff7. it just takes practice.

Think about it this way. There are a bunch of people that can beat anything on DDR on super hard mode or whatever and Im preaty sure they cant do it because they cheated *whitch would basicly be physichly impossible with the crowds of people around them.* The only reason there so good is because A. They play DDR ALOT. And B. They have good Foot Eye cordination.
