Why don't we all just get our own division. Then we would all win, and be able to play against people at the same skill level as us!
You have to realize that no matter how you break anything up, there will be upper and lower tier players, within that tier. There will always be borderline people who could go either way.
This about this (just because this happens a ton with me):
Volleyball tournaments. Say I'm a team in the top of tier 2. Top two teams in any tier move up a tier, bottom 2 move down. Let's say I wreck T2. Awesome, I'm in T1 now. Oh but wait. Now in T1 I get wrecked and come in the bottom two spots, and the 2 who just moved down are back up. It's just a limbo of musical tiers. The hosts have to decide themselves where they feel a player should be. Host's decision is final, and I don't see the point in complaining. I know I could go either way, D5/D6. In the Slayerific tourney I would have been eliminated last round if I were in D5. So I get to be one of the lucky borderline players. It really depends on the song chosen. Hurray.
