There's a really famous singer/TV show host here in Brazil with this same name, and it's pornounced as "Shoo-Sha".

The trick I've always found to pronounciation of Japanese words is to remember that every vowel gets a syllable. I'm sure that's not always correct, but it seems to work for me generally.

Also, they're fairly common words.

Try something like, Tergiversant, Eleemosynary or Autochthonous. None of them are too hard to say, but most people haven't heard any of them before and won't say them right.

Anybody who has taken a French class should recognize autochthonous (in the form of l'autochtone, perhaps, which means Aboriginal). That's how I know how to properly pronounce that one.

As for eleemosynary, it's el-uh-maw-sin-air-ee.

And tergiversant looks enough like tergiverser (again, French, although I feel as if I saw tergiverser in my Latin text somewhere) that I'd guess the English pronunciation would be ter-ji-verse-awnt but I'm probably wrong here.
