Torchlight is great, it's pretty much Diablo 2, but Borderlands is so much goddamn fun. I used to be really into it, I had all the gun makers, parts, tiers, titles, colors, and prefixes memorized so I could tell at a glance whether a gun was tits or trash. I recently started up another LAN playthrough with 3 friends, and the game really ****ing shines there. Just don't let anyone be Mordecai, he's super ****ing lame in the last bit of the game. He just one-shots everything.
DMC4 shows up as 4.99 for me, idk why it's four dollars more for you.
First off, these are repeats of the most popular deals, meaning you can't really go wrong here. Get Super Meat Boy and Bad Company 2. Those deals are nuts, you can get both for about ten bux and they'll last you forever. Additionally, I've learned that the fantastic Vietnam expansion for Bad Company is on sale in the EA store for about five dollars. You'll need a British friend to make the purchase for cheap though. The Mass Effect deals are kind of weak but the games themselves are ****ing great. The Witcher is fantastic, a bit dated, but a great game for about 5 bucks. Borderlands was pretty much my personal GotY, but the deals there are kind of weak. Word of mouth says Darksiders is pretty good too, it's like a post-apocalyptic Zelda.
Second off, once again, DO NOT BUY ASSASSIN'S CREED 2. That DRM is ****ing gnarly. Ubisoft's servers are down right now, in fact. Also, Wings of Prey - 3 activations limit starforce DRM. Another avoid.
It's also technically DRM. You buy a videogame off of steam, you can download it to any computer logged into your Steam account, along with saved games and custom control schemes. Steam includes a friend system and a chat client, as well as a web browser powered by IE, all of which are accessible in game by pressing Shift-Tab.
