No native flash support is truly the biggest downfall of the Apple products. The fact that they won't allow for support is ludicrous.

Also, with Apple products, the fact that you have to sync them all to iTunes makes them even less desirable! ...

Of course, there's cracks and unofficial patches you can apply to the iOS ... but most of them are buggy and will hinder more than help.

Is it just me, or is Apple taking tips from Microsoft?

Try to load Droid on it :3 I am sure there is a way if it has any type of storage media you should be able to load any *nix on it.

After doing 30 seconds of reading... THe ipad is glorrifed iphone hardware ROFL it uses single core arm based cpu with integrated gpu so I doubt there will be an easy OS solution. EBay it.

i would have either sold it for a new pair of snowboard bindings and goalie catch glove or used it to work on my slapshot, not sure which but i hate ianything, my sandisk mp3 player did everything that the ipod nano did when it came out (back when i had my old one) and it even had stuff that the nano didnt, but people said their ipods were better cuz of the name on them...

The only outright redeeming quality I see in this thing is the battery life. It's ridiculously amazing, I've had movies playing on it all day long at full volume and screen brightness and it's still at 65% battery remaining after 7+ hours of use, and it came with a 90% charge out of the box, never charged it.

Actually, if you hold out and wait a bit, a group of people are working on porting openiboot (an open source bootloader for iDevices) to the ipad and iphone 4. You could, in theory, keep the ipad as an android tablet.


Although, I'm not sure if it has the android market. The previous builds of iDroid have lacked the app market.






But you could always just sell the ipad and buy another S Tablet lmfao.

Actually I might do that. Those Galaxy Tabs look pretty sweet, I'd jailbreak this pad first, they go for around $650 if they're jailbroken, perfect amount for a Galaxy.

Which tablet might that be? I definitely DON'T want one with a resistive touch screen, 95% of the tablets/phones on the market are resistive. Capacitive is where it's at. Hence wanting the Galaxy Tab.

wasnt a big fan of the galaxy tab. seemed a bit laggy when i played with it at best buy. still better than the ipad though hehu
