Re: Hardest DDR Supernova song
Honestly I personally HATE gimmicks. It's annoying because the actual song doesn't freeze this isn't DJ Hero (which is a lame ass game IMO). Agreed that customs make it much more fun so ITG/Pump Pro (simply because pump is so unique) take the cake here.
I looked over the two charts and 888 is pretty interesting but I hate speed-changing songs because choosing an x-mod becomes obnoxious. Also the only really retarded part of Pluto is that ending, jesus."AW MAN, WE SUCK AGAIN!"

Healing-D-Vision Heavy/Oni are just horribly stepped. HI GAIZ 12TH NOTE MELODY LET'S INTENTIONALLY STEP 16THS HURRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRrrrr
There's a lot of differences and arguments as to why a person likes one side and not the other. Personally, I like PIU more than both games because a.) the community is considerably less cocky and b.) the game is actually difficult.
Also, chart-making is SO much more fun, and with the right build, you can make missions too. Take a look at two charts that I've made for missions:
and
PIU is so much more versatile and you can do so much more with it.Last edited by TC_Halogen; 12-17-2010, 01:09 PM.Comment

Re: Hardest DDR Supernova song
Because there's an actual discussion going on that stemmed from the topic?
EDIT: Fixed my video links.Comment

Re: Hardest DDR Supernova song
Because it has now become a full-fledged discussion beyond the initial target. Hence this is an average ffr thread. Yeah pump is sick I just need to learn the turns they're still confusing as hell to me beyond like 10's."AW MAN, WE SUCK AGAIN!"

Re: Hardest DDR Supernova song
You guys are acting like the expansion of the topic from DDR to overall rhythm gaming is a bad thing - it keeps the overall discussion going on a bit longer and actually allows more things to be compared. The topic of the thread itself barely left any room to discuss because a majority of the votes were the same. Having a linear discussion on a topic like this is impossible because comparisons will (and really should) be made.Comment

SCREW THIS BROKEN SARCASM DETECTOR AWRSGTKHLFJ
I've seen a lot of people talk about hard boss songs, but I still feel like Maxx Unlimited is SO underrated - that chart feels more tiring to me than a lot of other DDR bosses simply because of the amount of jumps in it...Comment

Re: Hardest DDR Supernova song
MaxX Unlimited probably has to be my favorite boss song on DDR, stepwise. It is a real challenge, and doesn't rely on gimmicks in order to do so.
Song-wise? 888/MAX (period)/MAXIMIZER.We are the music makers and we are the dreamers of dreams.Originally posted by Choofers2/10 smoke weed every other day, what up den

Am I the only one who loves Max 300 step-wise? I mean, I think it's my favourite.Comment

Re: Hardest DDR Supernova song
I like The Legend of Max it's freaking sick. And haha halogen fail sarcasm. Besides, I basically said what you said in more words. But yes Max 300 is pretty sweet too. Plus you can't forget PSMO.
Favorite non-boss charts:
B4U
Cartoon Heroes (Speedy Mix)
Xepher (ONI)
Matsuri Japan
So Deep
Twilight Zone
Tsugaru (either version)"AW MAN, WE SUCK AGAIN!"
