If you do end up doing the continue thing. Make sure you have a cut off point in which to use them.

Like, for instance, no continues by the second or third to last round and on.

Yes, but what I'm saying is like what if it is the last round. Couldn't you just be like "continue lawl i win". It would break the tourney if it comes into play in the late game.

At that point the continue is rather expensive, the person has to be sure they won't lose the round or they will burn their credits out badly in a reattempt. If it looks like it could propose a problem I'll be sure to modify that rule to disallow it at the final round.

More interesting twists will be thrown in the rounds to make the tourney more interesting, it all depends if the participants feel it isn't too ridiculous. If they are, everyone is more than free to object.

A rule should also be in place regarding the number of continues... what if there are 5 people remaining and 4 buy continues and the 5th AAAs?

As I said, that depends on the current loser of the round if they believe they can still win.

Ex: If the person AAA's VB and the loser of the round cannot get less then 30 goods, they may want to rethink if they want to bust out the credits to continue but probably end up losing anyway.

As mentioned, the rule may be subject to change if I feel the need to when the time comes.
