Not every score that is posted is going to receive a comment, just because someone does reply to is doesnt mean it is unnoticed. Hell I post good scores all the time and dont get replies, doesnt mean no one saw them. If you are so desperate for replies just post you scores in the thread and tell people around you skill level to come to the thread for once and to start actually supporting you instead of relying on the upper tier players to have to always comment on every score posted. Maybe if lower skill people would stop worrying about things not being seen/commented and actually participate in the thread more often and not post a score here and there just for them to get swamped by higher level scores, it wouldnt looks like the pros are running the thread.

This. Seriously - if you don't support the thread, go back to the elitist bubble of the original FFR scores thread. I'm leaving that bubble because I'm sick and tired of seeing the same names again. I'd much rather watch new players grow than watch the same old ones post again and again.

Definitely this. So people want a second thread for posting scores, let them. Instead of chastising the concept of people who aern't exactly T0, having a place where people are around the same skill can post, just let them have their thread and enjoy being noticed a bit in the FFR forums. Seriously.

I'm not leaving the game, but I'm not going to hang around ONLY in the FFR scores thread. I love the people there but it seems like no one else cares about those who are going to be the future of the game - those who are still learning. That really frustrates me. It's like what happened in the forums of AIJ (Aaron in Japan, for those who don't know), in reverse:

A really good ITG player FLAT OUT said that a new thread should be made because he was tired of seeing lower level players posting. That, I think is rude and elitist, considering the player in question is a considerably higher level player than the rest of the community. In this case, there has been a general consensus about this thread being made, and what do you have - a bunch of elites telling them to go back to the FFR scores thread and have them get more lower level players (who, mind you, are probably scared of venturing into the thread themselves) to look at the scores.

obviously people just don't see the point and will continue to argue regardless of what is said or not.

I never once thought that way when i first opened that thread. I figured everyone would wander into it to post any score at all. There is nothing to be scared of, although i guess you're saying they probably feel like they have to meet a certain score or skill level, aka (not post crap scores) Seeing as though i rarely see "crap" scores being shown off.

Aaron in japan haha, my oh my that was a beast site back in the yasu and take days. Memories dude.

Plan, shut it. Seriously? You always seem to have something to say. Just leave the damn thread and don't come back ya? Or is that something your little brain cannot comprehend? Anyway...

As to the rest of the people complaining, stop. This thread is a great idea from Hazelle. I definitely support this beyond belief.

If the lower tier players feel unrecognized then it is a simple factor that they should have a separate tier thread as Patashu has explained. This is their thread. Let them get recognition from other lower end tier players and to some like Carlos, Aj, and myself come and support their scores.

I don't care what any of you say, when you go into the FFR Scores thread you see nothing but upper tier players.

FOR INSTANCE, I just posted about 3 FMO AAA's in the thread a couple days ago. Some other lower tier people posted and NO ONE gave any of them credit. Maybe one or two, but not many. My FMO AAA's is what took over that page and a half. Just like Rubix's Death Piano AAA in the thread or AJ's La Camp AAA. Or what ever the hell the case is.

Just leave this thread be and let the people have what they want for a change, and not the "Elites" complain.

Just so you know, this is not directed at everyone just those that are having a keen sense on bitching constantly.
