Virus, we don't care about the fact that he drifts. At all.

You made a claim that his car could do 0-90 in 5 seconds. This is not possible given the specs you're throwing out there.

This is an SR20det doing a 0-115mph run, hitting 90 takes it 9.5 seconds, which is nearly double what you're claiming. Sorry but taking out the seats isn't going to shave 5 seconds off that time.

I know, it's one of those, hard to believe things.

And would anyone like to explain what a rev limiter is? It sounds like it prevents the engine from heating, and he said it had a backfire feature too, but I'd just like some clarification.

I still don't know the exact specs of his car, but I remember he thought some pussy truck wanted to race when my brother was taking me to summerschool, and we went that fast, and my bro said, "Hmm, 0 to 90 in 5 seconds, not bad."

Pretty much it was the ride of my life.

And he pretty much took out the whole interior, he left a sub and a passenger seat, that's it.

And the video is a horrible distribution of the torque, love how he almost stalls out in the beggining.

And it was an S13 he was driving.

That thing is at 14psi and 350WHP, his was a stock turbo haha.

HP has a lot to do with acceleration. I understand gearing does too, but there's no gears that will make a 200HP 1300kg car hit 90MPH in 5 seconds. Maybe 90KMPH, because that would be a 0-100kmph of about 5.5-6.0 which sounds about right.

Wait a second. The truck said 0-90 in 5 seconds? NOT BAD? Your car is faster than almost any road car dude, not bad.

Gearing is one of the most important necessities of driving fast, especially if you're driving a manual. If you're a drifter, you gotta have really good precision timing on your shifting.

Man you guys are bringing back good memories with me and my brother, I think imma cry.

              Re: Shopping for a motorcycle

Virus, you obviously don't know anything about what you're talking about, and it doesn't seem like the owner of the car knows how to count to 5.

A rev limiter prevents your rpms from climbing into dangerous levels that could damage your engine or transmission. Backfiring is not a good thing...it's definitely not a "feature"

You just based your entire argument on "Hmm, 0 to 90 in 5 seconds, not bad." I know cars and their power pretty god damn well, sounds like EnR is right up there too. This isn't "one of those, hard to believe things" it's one of those "I'm not going to believe it because it's not true. Period" Things.

Shifting perfectly does not make your car accelerate any faster, it just reduces the lag between neutral and throttle.

Nevermind, no need to argue anymore, you've never even had a car or are barely on your first one.

you'd be surprised at some of the ways iv seen paintball gear break, one of the best ones is when my air tank on the remote line got stuck on a support beam for the tank i was in when i tried to deploy from the tank i got stuck and under fire i just pushed untill it ripped the whole pouch clean off my back

                    I cannot afford

I'm not gonna argue about this anymore, I'll ask my brother on facebook what his specs were, if you really care that much, let's get back on Topic.

My OTHER (i know lol I have three brothers) brother had gotten a motorcycle for his truck. And I must tell you, it really scares the **** outta your parents, my dad thought he was gonna die going on that thing, and made him get rid of it, I wouldn't buy a motorcycle. Plus, you've never even ridden one, you simply have no experience, just because you can learn "fast" doesn't mean anything. Look at those videos that litodude posted, believe it or not, that can actually happen to you, motorcycles are like death on two wheels.

My input on your motorcycle idea = Don't do it, stick with a car. It saves plenty of money, and isn't nearly as dangerous.

My exgirlfriends dad got his motorcycle license and used his girlfriends hardley and crashed it within a mile from his house. His first ever ride on it, hit a patch and sand left over from the winter and hit a guard rail and went over the bars, breaking his leg and getting massive whiplash and roadrash.

Just don't be one of those tools trying to pop it on its front wheel while cruising around.

It's a strange type of Katana. As I was doing research, it seems like this model isn't really a Katana, they just slapped the Katana emblem on it when they imported it. It's a GSX1100F, which uses the GSX-R 1100 engine, and a more aerodynamic chassis, this could probably keep up pretty well with a ZX-12, and iirc, this had beaten the ZX-12's in trial runs (the early models, not the new ones).

                                Mine is the '93
