    Likewise. The sh*tty laptop I use still holds a good amount of time for ALWAYS being plugged in (24/7).

    Though, I have ran into a voltage leak problem. (Could be from something else.) But this only motivates me to keep my battery in at all times since my charger has it's moments with leaking and whatnot.

    Overall, f*ck it. You'll get a new computer in a few years anyway, whether it's because you have the money or you run into a totally different problem. I'd leave it in, just set standby, useful tool.

      When your power goes off. What is there to keep your laptop going? Then you'll be bored in the dark.

          I've left my laptop plugged in and with the battery for about 4 years of use now and my battery will only charge to 6%. Make of it what you will.
