Re: Any vegetarians/vegans on FFR?
I was a vegetarian for two years. I did my research, ate properly, all that crap, and researched animal rights stuff. I liked it, I was doing a small part in "saving the animals". I used to be like "no meat, bad bad bad" but now I kinda just think, "Don't overdo it." As with anything. Moderation is cool. There is nothing wrong with killing animals for food, but in the food industry it really goes to an extreme. It isn't necessary to eat as much animal products as we do, that's a fact. And you will save money by not doing so. There are tons of ways to get your protein, spinach for iron (I used to eat a lot of spinach). Just make sure you get enough B12, since deficiency in that is ****ty (Chrissi, that really sucks).
So my current diet contains meat, but I don't eat a **** ton. I moderate what I eat a lot still, actually. Even though I don't really need to make sure I'm getting enough iron and protein and b12 and such now.
Healthy = good.
