For the time being I'm using Pilot technical pens ranging from 0.1 to 0.8 size

And yeah, working with colour for a few little things, I'll update if anything decent comes out of that :P
I'mma have to get me some of those pens. I love pen drawings. And surrealism, and the quality of your pieces is great.

I agree, Factory is dope. All of those B&W faces/body parts are really great as well.

You, my friend, have inspired this drawing out of me. Stupid office pen loosing ink and what not.

And enjoy the boarder I put around it. It was just for you.

              have fun.

Hah! That's awesome, I'm so happy to hear I've inspired someone :B

It reminds me of Grinch Night-- if you haven't seen it, it gave me nightmares as a child and probably would still if I watched it again love it.

Since its zoomed in it looks really ****ty, its actually around 4 inches by 4 inches. And no I haven't seen it, but have you seen Spirited Away?

Theres a part in that when a bunch of little squiggly things come up out of the darkness, and thats also kind of the basis off of this drawing. Theres not much relation though.

                        That's cool, I like it

Okay, here's some WIP of a drawing I started last night, it's my first time EVER smudge shading in a drawing EVER o__o lol. Literally my first time using a piece of Kleenex to smudge was on the previous page before I started wiping it on the rough sketch I had... (since then I've been using Q-tips)

Still needs a lot of work. This is definitely the longest I've spent on a drawing but it's had the most payoff so far =D

Its very good, your smudging is amazing for your first time. Shading drawings are something of a strong suit for me. Ill find a picture of one. But what you have going so far is very good. The only thing I would say, is try and shade out more, it seems like a lot of your shades have too even of lines, it makes them look more like colors than shadows, if you know what I'm saying.

Edit: The tonsils on drawing 2 look really cool how you did it.

That's pretty cool mostly linework I would say, though, rather than shading, but still very nice linework

And thanks-- the throat is pretty simple, I just drew in some pretty thick lines around the edges of it, smudged into the center, used what was leftover to buff up the tonsils and then just sort of circle around it a bit.

Hey now, those were top notch and I would've gone on to win multiple awards had I not been modest enough to give others a chance by not submitting those to any online contests.

                                But thanks!
