Since when has mashing not been a legitimate way of getting a high score? Sounds to me like you're just mad that he's gonna beat you.

Its obvious not legit playing due to the fact you are not hitting the notes as is and instead are just mashing the keys just to take advantage of the fact that the tourn is combo based so you can easily win. Its pretty sad thats what you have to resort to in order to do good while the other people are actually trying and have to lose to that.

The tournament's name is Avmiss showdown. You even said the tourney was combo based.
The tournament's name does NOT indicate that it is supposed to test your accuracy.

Total scoring based tournament? 1.0x? Avmiss? Mashing works, and it's a legit way of playing. Otherwise we'd all be non-legits and deserve to get blacklisted.

P.S. WHY ARE YOU MASHING ETYLUKAH!!?!? If you can't get a legitimate 1x score, why did you join this tournament?

I'm mashing 'cause this tournament is combo based and that a score like 0-0-1-0 would be worse than 500-500-0-1000. (unless you miss at the end but meh you get the idea.)
I blackflagged Silence on x1.0 in 2007.
I suck at x1.0 now because i just finally switched from x1.0 to x1.875 and for some reasons i'm having a really hard time especially on this engine to get similar scores but i'm still hoping to get this fixed within those 10 rounds.
I mentioned "Placeholder" because im still trying to get a FC with decent PA.
I didn't mash FC Hellbeat and it didn't change a single thing outside of me losing more potential credits.
Also, boos exist for a reason.

I could have said umad lol? instead but i'm not here to troll you, I completely understand your point of view but by logic what i'm doing is more optimal until you can come up with both a FC and then a PA score. I don't see any mention of PA tournaments and even if it was one well my score would simply be bad.

Edit for under: I am, i loss around 2,5 mil credits from self-stupidity(blacklist automatically force credits to 0), gambling, giving away credits to friends that no longer play, challenges and tournament donations. Also, i know you love me but this thread is about the Sprite's Tournament, so if you think something is wrong, he's the one you want to discuss with..

I do agree that mashing doesn't determine skill however if you mash in this tournament, you're probably not going to win much anyway. Playing on 1x with avmisses is really difficult for some people even with screencutting so i can understand if some people have to mash there way though in order to get a better score.

Meh, just give Plan_B a break, he's a respectable player and he can pwn me on hard songs any day. He's just not used to me who's playing to win instead of playing within the "honorable" set of rules that doesn't exist anywhere but that everyone seems to have. :/

Oh btw, i love you, in this tournament so far, if you mash FC all your songs you're around rank 4 behind Fantasticone, Sprite and Halogen who are pretty much doing good while still FCing. So yeah, it's proof that mash FC does pay in case you can't at least afford a normal FC but obviously a non-mash FC is a lot cooler and interesting. I was expecting to play against semi-mashed scores that contains both PA and enough safety to keep that combo going as well..
