I'm just curious to know if people can do that and somehow control it to some extend 'cause normally boo count should be close to the total number of arrows in the song + 32-64 for quad-holding at the end assuming you're keeping your lifebar half-way during all the song. I'm just trying to come up with what could possibly happen during the tournament that could potentially ruin scores.

Glitched scores will not be accepted, and people who submit them will not be awarded a prize. If one player has a boo-count far exceeding that of every other player, it will be investigated and the player may be asked to save a replay of a similar score to verify. Once I learn the exact nature of the glitch, it will be easier to make these decisions.

So you define "passing" a song as getting through all the notes? Hence is it allowed to "pass" all the notes in the song and then to "boo out"? That seems to be within the rules of the excite bike example you have provided...

Yes, there would be no other indication for me to tell whether someone boo'd out after the last note in a screenshot anyways, so it is allowed. Correct
