                    I'm definitely for calm music too - but I'm not sure how to describe it.

                    Examples:
                    - My Chrysalis Highwayman (Fallout) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BIP90IV6EqA
                    - Hell (Terminal 11)
                    - Redding (Fallout) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4nYtFgo44ws

                    The funny thing is, I play hard songs on stepmania and I'd probably expect to listen to faster stuff but tracks that create a sort of "depressing" atmosphere actually can help me concentrate more and are very nice to listen to.

                        I honestly can't get into anything without getting bored of it real quick (energetic to the point where it just becomes bland and repetitive, etc) - except for what I mentioned. The ambient atmosphere generated by the tracks I listen to are a great experience and are the best tracks I've ever listened to.

                        I think dubstep is overrated.

                          I guess I have a massive appreciation for Music, some people are just so close minded and won't even try different types because of the stereotypical kids that are part of the label that goes along with the music.

                            Yeah like "dude Soulja Boy is so awesome my friends like his songs".

                            What happened when I actually did give genres a chance:

                            Hip hop/rap = Fail
                            Dubstep = Fail

                            Pop = Fail
                            Guitar solos = Boring real fast
                            Classical = Boring
                            Country = Boring
                            Breakcore = Fail, boring

                            J-core/J-pop/whatever = Fail
                            DnB = Boring

                                Eh, not really. I'm not sure how to describe it. More like enigmatic/depressed type calm.
