I wash/shampoo my hair every day even though I know I shouldn't, but I can't stand it when it gets oily. I don't know how your bf tolerates that.

There ain't nothin' wrong with a gold old fashioned air dry. That's what I've been doing all my life. I dry my hair with a towel (scrub it actually, take that Chrissi!), then comb it all backwards to straighten it out and just let it dry out. In moister climates, it takes about an hour to fully dry, and in dry climates, about 30 minutes. Not too bad, imo.

In all seriousness. I shower every morning. If I shower before bed, I wake up with greasy hair no matter what and it's disgusting. My hair takes about the same time as you. 30mins to an hour, sometimes a tad longer. I also scrub with a towel. But I wear a toque after to not have my hair looking really thick.

Pillow and blankets get washed regularly. I just sweat a lot when I sleep and have greasy skin.

I used to have long ass hair down to my shoulders back 4-5 years ago, but cut it since then. You have some shiny ass hair bro.

Even with a buzzed head, my hair gets greasy over night and throughout the day. It's not that I don't take care of myself that's just how it is. I also have a naturally dry scalp. Kinda blows y'know because it's not dandruff. It's kinda weird though, because my scalp get's greasy?

Hmm. I have a soft spot for pretty eyes. I like a strong girls that aren't whimps...those namsy panmsy girls that won't do anything or try anything new bug me. Either really long hair or short funky hair....usually brunettes.

Yeah that's what I do... if my hair is shorter. My hair is longer now so I do all that and then put it up in a bun. Take forever to dry but idc. I can't stand having hair like that either rofl. Oh and to top of his hair problem, I just found out he also has dandruff. He's like "oh I've always had that"... "well no ****, it's cause you never wash your hair".

1. Washing your hair more often results in more grease because your scalp requires a certain amount of lubrication and it will overproduce oils if you wash them away. He is fine to wash his hair once every 3 days. I wash mine once or twice a week, so that's about every 4 days or 5 sometimes. (I shower every day, I just use a shower cap to avoid getting my hair wet.)

2. Related: Shampoo damages your hair, which is the best reason not to wash it every day. Your hair's health will improve (which = shinier, stronger hair) from the natural oils your scalp is providing to the roots.

3. Not washing your hair does NOT cause dandruff and in some cases can relieve it.

4. Check out http://www.longhaircareforum.com/ , these bitches know what's what about hair, seriously they know EVERYTHING and ALL of them will say don't shampoo every day if you care about the health fo your hair.

5. You probably know this but blowdryers damage your hair, that might be why your bf's hair sucks.

If I don't was my hair everyday it gets more and more disgusting. So I don't know how that logic works. If I wash it in the morning, 12 hours later it's starting to get greasy and uncomfortable.
