Not sure, I clean out my ears every time I shower, and I even tried while I'm having this pain. So if it's earwax, it must be pretty damn deep in my ear then. 0_o

Have you tried playing without sound yet? You can hear your keytaps better that way and maybe you could listen for any parts you might be doing uneven 16th stream.
