    Re: FFR Scores

Regarding resting positions: I find that I need to elevate my hands for complex patterns. For simpler patterns, my MA is more guaranteed if I rest them on a table. Resting your hands grants additional stability at the expense of losing some speed/momentum from what you can achieve without support grounding everything.

Yeah i just got a skill boost recently just from doing that which is why i almost AAA'd AIM Anthem/Club recently..

I'm just curious of if you could come up with a list of things like that to consider while playing, like general playing tips and also in front of specific patterns.. I haven't seen many threads about this and i don't understand why it's not heavily a topic of discussion for all the players who are trying to get better. Mainly about interpretations of patterns, transitions, muscle memory, posture, or whatever concepts that exists that i'm not aware of..

Hit harder on the hands that start the 12th doubles in the start of the file. This makes sure you don't have to mash and get a boo everytime there's a hand. (It's worked for me all this time)

Single 12th jacks with 48th rolls in between: quickly lift hands up slightly and do a 24th jump flam.

16th quads and doubles after the slow part: Hit early.

Most importantly: STAY CALM. Your heart may beat fast but that's different from shaking violently when you're worried about missing.

^ This. I can't do any good unless I somehow get lucky through the 12th jacks. I'm not fast enough to keep up with jacks of that length - and it goes on for a while.

Tips from Dossar are good too.

Now go AAA Death Piano on SM. (:

Not magic's score, but yeah. Both in the left-to-right rolls (which I'm awful at)

What got me, I finally found it after so long.... There is a note right before the roll that kind of seems hard to see...

It's an 8th note, should be on the right arrow if you are not using mirror.

I delete replays until I nail the AAA, then I leave those up
and it serves as delicious fuel for derailing threads for untold pages until then
