Eh, since I believe in saving yourself for love (not marriage) no it wont. It's just not my thing. It's not a double standard for me either, if a guy brags about how many people he has screwed I'd just be like, "cool."

If someone likes people primarily for their physical looks/money, what's the issue? It's only a problem if the person with looks/money wants to be valued for more than that.

In one of my finance classes, we briefly, for fun, applied a probability model to relationship standards for the hell of it.

If we had the opportunity to roll multiple dice in a row (with the ability to stop any time), where our payout equaled what we rolled, we'd obviously keep rolling until we hit a 6. We wouldn't roll once and stick with a 2. We have the luxury of re-rolling if our number of trials is sufficiently high.

But how do we know when to stop rolling? When it comes to this dice game, the math is easy. For one die, we stop if we beat 3.5 (i.e. roll a 4, 5, or 6). For two dice, we stop if we beat 4.25 (i.e. roll a 5 or 6) on the first roll, or if we choose to keep going, we expect a 3.5 if we roll again. Once we hit the sweet spot of 5 dice do we aim for the max. We stop on the first roll if we beat 5.13 or so (only achievable by rolling a 6). Any additional dice we get beyond that mark essentially gains us free shots at aiming for 6.

In other words, if we take this logic to relationships -- the reason we don't want to settle is obviously because our standards are higher when we're young. We have more time ahead of us and we can continually go on dates to our heart's content, rejecting whatever doesn't surpass our U(x) thresholds.

The problem, of course, is that women aren't dice. We don't immediately know all the values up front, nor do we know the probability distributions like we do with a die. It's also much harder to roll again. Furthermore, dating is two-sided. We may find someone that is good enough for us, but are we good enough for them?

It can start to look pretty bleak when you factor all this crap in. It all points to a bit of a numbers game. If you have high standards, date frequently and often -- and be willing to accept brutal rejections in high dosages. If you have lower standards, you obviously don't need to do this as much.

Just a fun way to model the situation. XD

Intelligence first and foremost. I know a lot of people say that (especially on the internet, where everybody has an inflated view of their own intelligence), but I feel that it's true in my case. Personality wise, I would prefer someone mature (again, one of those traits you see mentioned all the time) and a little quiet, like me. And they need to be fine with my long hair.

My ideal woman would have some interesting hobbies as well, not just "facebook, shopping, hanging with friends and watching tv lol xD"

Appearance wise? Basically anything but very overweight. I also prefer long hair to short hair.

Personality wise; nerdy, intelligent, witty, educated, interests similar to mine

face; long(ish) hair, 'cute' features that are natural (minimal or no makeup), symmetry, nice teeth and breath.

body; taller than average (but not too tall), curvy (full breasts, butt, hips, legs), averageish weight (don't want em' bony).

Girls: Nice butt, nice legs (a nice butt and legs will make me double-take EVERY time), average boobs, big-ish lips

Guys: Well groomed (shave or trim up their beard nicely, ALWAYS shave the cheeks, always), short-ish hair (don't know why, I just don't like long hair on guys unless they're QUITE effeminate, or it's dreads or something else crazy)

Both, physical: average/slim build, clear complexion, crazy hair (colour or style or something, just do something with it other than letting it sit on your head), piercings, tattoos, but not biker-y or punk or "tough girl/guy"-like.

Both, non-physical, and most importantly: Nerdy, intellectual, kind and compassionate, fairly liberal/left leaning/accepting, understands the nature of inequality in the world (basically can admit that people don't usually get what they deserve, the world is unfair).

Sounds like a tall order but anybody with 60% of that, mostly the non-physical stuff, is what I'm really attracted to. The physical stuff is nice but the novelty disappears quickly. The non-physical attributes are the only ones that can really make me want to spend my life with a person.

However, eyes are a HUGE thing for me because if I can look in your eyes and see nothing then it's just an empty void I'm not willing to fill. But, if I see lighter/brighter things then of course its more inviting

Anyway,

I like girls that have beautiful, symmetrical faces. Average bodies, nothing anorexic tho, ew. Don't care about boob size but not too small that they look flat rofl. Tall with long legs too. See avatar for example of what a perfect woman is.

As for men... I really have no preference. Except smell. Has to smell good and have literally almost no gross body odor. Don't care about weight either, but he has to be able to at least walk like a normal person lmao. Not waddle like a penguin or drag along like a walrus.

I'm mostly into asian women and white guys though.
