No because the old profile code looks like someone dropped an atom bomb in a vat of PHP. Not to mention the fact that you can customize your page to be the most unviewable geocities-level piece of trash imaginable.

Yeah I've heard the horror stories of various pages on this site and its current code. Lol, though I am excited for a revamped profile, definitely interesting to see what comes of it. I just love my current background right now. But, if I have to, I'll get another one made to accommodate the new profiles. LD just better make them badass, as Tass would say, enough that you wanna punch your grandma in the kidneys.

If they need an overhaul then they need an overhaul but people like backgrounds. I personally would argue that they're worth keeping. Customization was a big win for profile-users even if many of them do look pretty bad to most people.

I'm just asking for you to consider it.

Agreed. Customization, I would think, is an obvious thing that should be a part of the new profiles. Hopefully that feature is retained(not sure why it wouldn't be).

The enhancement of any code on this website, be it to make it faster or more efficient, is a good thing. :]

The cleaner the code, the easier it is to change/alter/upgrade in the future. Hope to see some cool things pop up!
