You don't because an admin by being social and active in the community. You become an admin by having the capabilities to maintain a website.

As to not seeing Tass back again, that is a yes and no situation. He really did do some great things here, but towards the end things seemed to change in him. I mean I understand he wasn't getting paid. But, everyone respected him enough and he kept the site going for things. At the very end it was LD and NSane who wasn't a mod or admin. I'd love to see those two back indefinitely to be honest.

Becoming admin is not about technological/managerial merit (if this were true, I'd be an admin eons ago). You still have to be a decent member of the community. If you run around trolling and/or being an ass like yours truly, people get wary.

Twilight: New admins helping out are really what James needs. I agree with 25th hour that mods are here but not at all really definitely needed except to keep chaos away. Admins are where it's at.

Necamus's remark is pretty justified in my opinion because TP doesn't quite have the credentials that one typically attributes to an admin as I explained above.

Also, I know you want to people to think you're some huge part of this community by calling Synthlight "James" and implying that you have some kind of personal relationship with him (which I doubt you do), but I'm here to let you know that it's weird as **** and you should stop.
