a few suggestion: keep the updates in only one post, and don't let people use the beta cause the mods doesn't work there.

Thanks Axel. I'll keep the stats on the latest page. Beta does allow the mods to work. Dizzy doesn't spin apparently on downscroll. Dizzy just flips the arrows on downscroll. It does that on the public and beta. It works for either this round, but it's easier to post a score on Public FFR rather than Beta.

doesnt make much sense to me why we are using V V V V arrows, because that are some people's natural playing style, how is that fair?

Hm, in my opinion, you should allow us to choose what speedmod and scroll we use. You'll get more submissions that way as well because I know I probably won't even submit if I can't do decent on this song. 1.5x is just too slow. Especially for those that use 2.0x+. Also, I know when I use Upscroll that's ridiculous. I can't even read it or hit it accurate, not even close. The other mods are already hard enough. It'll also take more work off of your shoulders by making it so you don't have to watch every replay. And if you're looking at replays for Upscroll/Downscroll, you should keep in mind that Downscroll + Mirror = Upscroll on replays. I don't know if that works with Upscroll + Mirror = Downscroll on replays, probably.

Axel said one reason for it. It's suppose to be a challenge. I signed a number to each modifier and used random.org to pick the rules. It'll change every round. No one ever uses side scroll or corner scroll (the other options). It's suppose to be a crazy tournament. The scores are suppose to be wacky and different because everyone has their strengths and weaknesses. The next rounds may use upscroll so then it's a downfall to those. This tournament isn't decided off one round. There's going to be like 6 or 7 rounds. The scoring for it is going to be close so you'll have a chance to catch up with wins for future rounds.

Nilla, do not worry about your score. It's suppose to be hard. Have you looked at the other scores? Their PA drops from the difficulty. It's same as the reply I made right above the quote, it'll change for each round. It's a part of making this tournament "Crazy". If you don't submit, you don't get any points in the tournament standing. I haven't ran into the scrolling problems yet and the arrows weren't mirrored from the replays I've watched unless Upscroll + Mirror exactly simulates a normal downscroll. I have plenty of time to watch the replays as well. I'm on the finals week of school and I do not care what I get because the classes aren't going to help me with music at all. I have a lot of time and even more time when winter break starts. I hope for people to be honest and actually have fun challenging themselves to play in this tournament. If 50% don't submit because they can't get a good score, I'll just cancel the whole thing. It shows they want perfection and competition and not just have fun with the whole thing. It's a joke tourney. Like Aweins999 good attack. It's out of the ordinary, fun tourney. There's no eliminations, so there's always hope in the future to win with different rules that you're more comfortable with.

The whole tournament is based off of using strange mods that you otherwise wouldn't use. That's why it's called MikeyzDragon's First FFR Tournament Of Craziness. Scores will of course be lower, but the point is to adapt to the mods as best you can. I don't think it should be cancelled if half the people drop out; the remaining people can have fun with it and just play it as it's supposed to be played.

True, I had it a bit easier than most because I always use downscroll, but that'll probably last just this one round, I suck majorly at upscroll

+1 not canceling even if 50% of the ppl don't submit. Not pointing at anyone but to give an example, at first I thought the same as Vanilla but now I'm like "hey just for the fun of it". I think this tourney is cool cause most of us are already at the mental state of only competition and winning and were did the fun of playing go?

Even when competition has always been, obviously, months before we actually had fun playing and competing in a tourney. And in my opinion this is gonna be a great tourney and I'm gonna play every round even if I don't win.

Edit: don't stop using random stuff for the rounds. I'm with the others in that that is what makes this tourney crazyyyyerrr lol
