By the way, HDMI and S-Video are pretty much the only options you have, inojokeyou.

I don't know what you want us to tell you. If your Acer doesn't have those ports, then you're not going to be able to connect your laptop to your TV.

Well thank you. Im trying as hard as i can so that i can keep everyone on subject.

what i need is a video/audio cable (red, white, yellow)composite, with the other end being a usb.

But I dont think they make those

Pair with a double ended composite cable and you're good to go.

Wait, you want from laptop to TV? That I havn't a clue.

How would that not work, Kib?

You can plug the RCA cables directly into the TV...

That's a capturing device, it's only an input not an output.

At first I was assuming that she wants to go from TV to laptop. My link will work if that's the case. I then thought she wanted laptop to TV. This device will not work for that.

Ah, okay. Yeah, she definitely wants to go laptop to TV, so back to the drawing board.

That's not the device you're looking for. You want to go from laptop to TV, right? That device will capture your TV output to your laptop.

                          No, read it again.

It's only an input device. It doesn't do output, which is what you're looking for.

Are you absolutely positive that those are the only ports on your laptop? As the above bros said, I don't think there's anything you can do with just those.

Hopefully not JUST because it won't hook up to your tv, right? That would be a bit silly. >.>
