    Re: Misplaced songs

Actually, what about CSGS? Its not exactly dance music but I say it belongs in misc. What about Funk for Jazz? It does make sense. Though if you put Speedcore and Jazz into the same song group, that doesn't make ANY sense*. DnB can be put into dance if its stuff like cornandbeans, but noisecore and most likely hardcore techno should go in misc. Pops should also go in funk.

Regarding bmw.578, it does use classical instruments, but it is more techno than classical. I say its better off in Dance.

Piano Concerto No. 1 (For Kirby) is a remix of a piano song. As far as I know, it sounds uh, Kirby-ish. But this song was used in a pad pack called Pop Candy 2. So it CAN be placed in Dance. Its not -that- piano-ish anymore.

*I have speedcore music next to my jazz tracks in winamp.

        Re: Misplaced songs

Bumping this thread, because I've just compiled a list (sent to jx) of potential arcade songs to be moved to a different genre. Most of them were either Touhou (apparently we have a ton of these songs) or songs that sounded video game-like without actually being derived from any particular game.

        Expect some more feedback later.
