You just have to practice a bunch. When i started playing FFR i thought Uber rave, hellbeat and runnymornig were impossible. But after a bunch of practice, i can get a noticeable distance (still not completly though).

I wouldn't consider someone who can complete songs like Uber rave to be a hacker, I can complete it. If you practice, its actually kind of easy. The only song Im having difficulty with right now is FOTBB because I can complete it, but I screw up to easily. All you need to do is practice. If you also play DDR, it helps, trust me. This is coming from someone who beaten The Encore Extra stage but screws up AM-3P on Standard

I'm close to full comboing Uber rave there is maybe 2 or 3 parts where i always screw up at least once. But thats just the weakness in my finger arrangement. It'll take a while, but once you are good enough you'll realize

If you havn't the knack for Stepmania or DWI and you play this and your no good, give up because you won' get very much better. I started playing stuff like caprice and all of the classical songs on the first week I were here.

just basically you have to practice build up from easy to medium to standard to difficult to very difficult etc... after awile youll be able to pass all of the songs

i think by playin lvl by lvl lik begginers to very easy to easy to normal and so on if u play it enuff ull notice that eveytime u try a higher lvl the arrows seem farther apart for somereason and its slower...

Castina: Thats an opinion. I think that the way to be prosperous in this game with one hand is if you started playing the game with one hand.
As for tenku, I think that whenever you play the hard levels, you have been playing the easy ones all day and you play the hard one at 4 in the morning. As you are sleep deprived, to you, they look farther apart and slower.

I've been practicing since june...those songs are impossible for me to do good on, but I CAN easily pass them...i can't get full combos or even close...2 handers are impossible for me to do good on...especially like that new song..."visions" or whatever...dang...

Stepmania really helps. When I first started playing, I thought I was good for FC'ing songs like Secret Zombie Room. At that stage, I couldn't pass songs like Runny Morning, Uber Rave, CIA Rave or Hellbeat. I have been playing SM for maybe a month or two now, and i can finish any song on FFR(as far as I know).

I still can't FC Secret Zombie room, but I can mash my way through any FFR song...

A lot of the new songs are driving me up the wall...and I have to confess, I still can't read the end of most of the harder songs such as NeoMAX or Visions. But I just have to say to myself, I used to be unable to read the Dr. Wily theme when I was starting out...I just need to practice. But then again, there's probably something wrong with my home computer. I don't know what it is, but the end result is that most of the faster songs (Sonic 2, One Last Battle, NeoMAX) are off-rhythm, sometimes lagging behind the song by a full second or more. It works fine when I'm at my university, though.
