Both God of War games are on the PS2. The new one isn't out yet. Don't tell me a game is good before it's released. See below.
The first Ratchet & Clank Future game got good reviews, but the second one sucked ass. Killer app? No.

I'm not talking about the PS2 games. Yes, GoW 1 & 2 are on the PS2, I wasn't referring to that. There's no proof, indeed, but a game can be good before it's released, that will be proven when GoW3 comes out. It's going to be good, I'm not a psychic and I don't have to be, but for the sake of the argument I can humor you. Which Ratchet and Clank sucked ass? I'm not questioning you're information (unless it's wrong), I just actually don't get which one you're talking about. The second one hasn't come out yet. What do you mean by, "Killer app? No"?

The new Jak game is going to be on the PS2 ONLY. I wonder why?
Final Fantasy is going to be on the 360 and PS3. I wonder why?

I thought that the 13th FF game would do as the previous 12+, my bad, and the Jak series, idk. "I wonder why" isn't a question, and aside from that, what do you mean? I honestly didn't catch the hidden sarcastic message when you said, "I wonder why".

Funny how you say it's a matter of taste, and then you tell me to shut up because I don't know what I'm talking about. You really haven't given me any proof. You gave me one good game that had a mediocre sequel, a game that isn't out yet, a game that isn't coming to the PS3 at all, and a game that has a multi-platform release.

The best part is, you assume that I have an "Xboxer Mentality" when I don't even own a 360. Where anywhere have I said anything about the 360? All I said was that my (now $300) isn't worth the mediocre selection of games on the PS3.

Actually:

PS3's library is so much better than the Xbox's library (since all the popular games are for both anyway) and if you disagree with that, then you don't know what you're talking about and it's just a matter of taste, so shove your Xboxer mentality up your ass and shut up.

Let me simplify; I said you don't know what you're talking about and you have an Xboxer mentality ONLY IF you think the Xbox has a better library than the PS3, which I stated that the only way that would be possible would be if you just prefer Xbox games, which would, in turn, mean that you're basing the argument on opinion in the hopes of winning a battle for your beloved Xbox. If that isn't the case, then nothing I said after "if you disagree" was directed at you, and since you don't own a 360, I guess you criticized me for issuing an imaginary insult. The exclusive games don't suit you? Fine. The community is terrible? Back it up.

Does the PC have a good controller yet? I might get into that once I get a good computer and an acceptable controller, that's my main problem. I can't play those perfect PC games you're talking about since I'd have to turn the graphics down as far as possible to even run it, and even then it'll lag and lag and freeze from time to time to time to time.....

Geez man everytime someone talks about the ps3 there has to be some trolls that come from microsucks asshole talking down the console like it's a worthless pile of junk when the xbox's system has like a 90% fail rate. Everyone I know who has a 360 had to take their lame piece of hardware back "atleast" once to the manufacturer because of the death ring so they of course got their problems. I respect the 360 as a gaming console it has it's share of good games but I do not respect anyone who has to talk trash about ps3 owners. I take that back I really don't respect it as a console actually because microsoft is buying exclusive rights to games/dlc that should atleast become multiplat. Games like starocean, Grand theft auto addons, Fallout 3 addons which just made it to ps3 about a year after released on xbox. I think that's pretty ****in selfish for a video game company if you ask me.

Uh, the 'second' Ratchet game for the PS3 was a 4 hour expansion pack that cost $15, and it didn't suck. The Jak game is - low and behold - a port of a PSP title. No dur, it's going to suck. But Naughty Dog is developing the Uncharted series. Uncharted 2 is getting rave reviews. Pre-judging God of War is not a bad idea, as the first two games are phenomenal, AND the GoW series is getting re-released in high def on one BR disc for $40 bucks.

I enjoy my free online, too. I also have an X-box, but my PS3 gets far more play.

How about drop a few hundred bucks and get a computer with more than 512 gigs of RAM.

I use a wired 360 controller. Works just fine. Auto-detect works for every game I've tried so far and it automatically configures itself to the 360 version's controls if the game has a 360 counterpart.

However, Keyboard & Mouse is the best input device for any FPS game, so it's a moot point.

Every company does this. Nintendo, Microsoft, and Sony lock in exclusive rights for their console with large cash donations. Don't try to pin this on Microsoft just because they got some DLC you wanted. Again, anecdotal evidence is not real evidence.

I actually bought a 360 just for starocean it really wasn't worth the 200 dollars down the drain I actually sold my 360 less than a month after buying it. I was extremely dissapointed because I actually bought a play and charge kit for the p.o.s. because it runs on AA batteries!!! That's the most depressing thing knowing your controller will run out and you have to go to a store and buy batteries just to play a damn game.

Valve founder, Gabe Newell, made millions working for Microsoft, which soured any attempt at a relationship that he could have had with Sony. He pretty much flat out refuses to work for any platform besides the Xbox or the PC, which is kind of short sighted. The Orange Box port to the PS3 was wholly a waste of time due to improper coding (EA had to outsource the development of the port because Valve wouldn't touch it). Despite the fact that developing for multiple consoles would in no way hurt the man, he seems to be under the impression that Sony is disloyal to their fanbase, and that the PS3 is impossible to code for (which, apparently, it isn't, but what do I know, I'm a bear - I suck the heads off fish).

Yeah man well if you went on kotaku or another credible gaming source site you would know that valve wants to **** on ps3. Believe it or not but the ps3 is considerably harder to code/port a game to sony's console so developers are either dropping the ball making ****ty ports or not making ports at all. But real game developers can overcome this problem as we have seen. Either way it's not that big of a deal because I don't salivate over valves games anyways.

The Uncharted series (Jak) is coming, your bad.

Naughty Dog temporarily dropped production of Jak & Daxter to work on the Uncharted series. They are nowhere near the same game, just made by the same developer. That's like saying Bonk's Adventure for the TurboGrafx-16 is the same series as Trauma Center: Under The Knife for the Nintendo DS because they were both developed by Atlus. HURF.

Why even mention an expansion pack as an example of a bad game, especially an expansion to a well-rated game?

The PS3 has a small user base because first it was too expensive, and now that it's near the same price, it isn't worth it anymore, because Xbox developed the bigger community. Coming back from that tangent, that WOULD make sense to go multi-platform, but that doesn't apply to "The new Jak game is going to PS2 ONLY". The "I wonder why"'s didn't have the same meaning?

Aside from our little debate, have you read all the other comments about this topic? This argument we're having doesn't even have a purpose. I'm arguing the PS3 over 360, but you don't care about either. You can go ahead and respond to this, but I might not pay much attention to it.
