Thanks for telling that.

It's still worth a shot if you specify some of the songs I listed earlier - that would be hardcore. If you happen to go about doing that, I'd rather have the email worded right, so take your time. (btw, jimerax hasn't got around to responding, and probably will not anytime soon, so we might as well brainstorm a reply for songs from their CDs)

edit: in the reply, you might want to also acknowledge some of the representative's previous requests like "yes, you'll surely be credited after a song is released to the public" etc.

I've been meaning to ask Jimerax how to say 'We would like to use songs x, y, z, etc', so don't fret.

Also, my reply email mentions that we would put the song name, their name and a link to their site. But I'm worried about the link part because several artists don't have their link put up.

I'm not quite sure who actually is in control of artist links (probably Tass, not sure about anyone else). I've never seen that become an issue before and hopefully it never will.

About jimerax: I list the styles (i.e. genres) for each respective song on FFR and send it via PM for jimerax to add - seeing how I've sent that email many weeks ago, I'm pretty sure he's a bit busy to respond to PMs for now. He usually does that on a fairly consistent basis. Gotta ask someone else* or just wait.

Song requests sent to Morrigan and Shimamura about 7 hours ago. Thanks to dag12 for helping write out a reply. He'll probably help to translate the emails accurately from now on. Also, I just added the other emails, untranslated. Another new permission get is -45, check him out.

By the way, Godspeed permission is blanket. CDs, web songs, whatever he makes is yours to step. Why is it blanket permission? He played FFR before! Hurray for artists playing our favorite online game!
