If there was no chance that a was a metroid/wolf, it would have been the best possible choice, since it is possible (unlikely, but possible) that the Rundas claimer was actually a wolf/metroid.

But since I obviously forgot some data in my calculations, that doesn't hold and that's why I backed off. I do think Iggy's strategy is best now.

Well, I guess the metroids would know. The death/attack messages don't say whether it was the 'troids or the wolves that did the attacking or whether rundas was the cause of death.
