yeah thats right, heap on the justification like pig slop. Tell us how you have a life, and dont have time for stepmania, and thats why your files are a train wreck. Go on. Actually, maybe if you stepped solo you'd get better reception simply because people are always desperate to play new files. The less competition you have, the better you look right?

all the stepman critics itt are having some issues. files from different time frames are like apples and oranges. people are giving aperson and reach bad reviews, which is just completely lol. here's a few people who aren't really getting any attention here I'd like to make some notes on.

b00mba: HELLA index. his Xepher is my favorite of the files I've played for that song.
benny1: I'm not really sure about his other files, but I love his Ancient Temple.
ducky: is it just me or are his files some of the most bestest
pfx: everyone forgot this guy? Lawn Wake files, Interrupt Vector files, the stuff everyone used to play.
tear: people, play Healing-D-Vision please.
toph: I grew up on his files. I'm sure a lot of people did. Nemesis doesn't seem dated, I don't think.
vospi: feel good files IMO. Baby Baby and We Are Milkcan are too fun.

I'll chime in more later maybe. by the way, the only files of mine I feel are really up to snuff are my KBMP1.5 files and Paranoia Ug. I still love Bryan Fury but I really made that one for myself. Boss Fight is my only hard file, actually I like that one too. the rest of my files are really old and stuff. I still like playing some of them, but I wouldn't recommend them to people who wouldn't play them for nostalgia.

The fact that you think I'm dissing stepmania implies that you also agree it is bad for stepmania to be more about making simfiles. Glad we can agree on that.

stepping files and playing them are quite similar. if you're having fun thats all that really matters. its a hobby, not a chore. regardless of what people see the game for.
