My name is Danny Matherson. I am six-years-old and live in West Plains, New Jersey. Today at school, we learned about slavery and how mean people were to the slaves. I think that was bad, and I'm glad that there are no more slaves anymore, and that black people have freedom. I'm sorry for all of the things that white people did to black people and I hope that you are not sad about it anymore.
