I hope you dad gets better Vanilla! <3 I lost a sister but its not the same as what your expieriencing becuase I wasnt even born yet and she died. She died at like 3 months old.

On a tourney side note: why dont you do a 6th division Im pretty sure that will work. the skill range in the master and gurus division its really big, so that my best idea.

Requesting Jteh and kjwkjw to be moved up into guru or else they win masters easily. Also, just to reiterate, all D4ers will lose if even one D5 player posts a score that's mediocre for them unless we're lucky (like if our highest ranked FGOs were picked), but probably not even then. Counting on them not submitting a score because of past trends doesn't really seem like justifying a division jump for us since if they do, we get owned without any chance at all. I thought being in the right division was more about skill and less about luck. Also, I doubt it's because they're lazy or forget (which is the case sometimes), but that it would require a lot more effort than anyone would want to put into this game to get a better score...

Perfect example is gun's tournament: zero posts a score and the other gurus decide not to post since they know they can't do much better without spending a lot of time or just can't. We would be in Gilly's position (not being able to get close on kidney stone) but much worse since you know, we're in D4 for a reason and not D5. Also, about PAing FGOs, it should be more like PAing an FGO. We each have particular songs that we're good at (mine is cccp and aza's is holy orders), but we're still beat by a mile when compared to D5 players rather than D4. We will also never beat them on say, an easy FGO like FN or Ketsarku that they can low SDG or AAA in a couple of tries. I'm just saying, if one of them even bothers to post a score, it won't matter how well we do as p4rty said before.

tl;dr version: We're gonna get destroyed in Guru as long as one D5 player posts. If we were to be placed in guru, it'd be more about luck (D5ers not submitting at all through multiple rounds) and even if that did happen, it would just be us 4 battling it out as if we had been in masters the whole time except for without Jteh and kjwkjw. So like p4rty said, why not move us into a division where we have to try to advance instead of hoping that we get a bye into the next round instead? If your logic follows, we will be in the top 4 of each division no matter what.

PS: My condolences go out to you and your family. Hope everything is OK with your father.
PPS: I didn't proofread any of that **** up there so it'll probably have some mistakes, but you'll get the main idea. Just my thoughts on our placement and how things will go.
