But how does them getting the voucher suddenly make it easier for anyone to drive the 1 hour and 39 minutes to buy the AK, than if they just went to the store with the intent of buying it with their own money?
I have a problem with the fact that you claim just holding the gun will make someone want to kill people. That is simply untrue of a normal mentally healthy person, who coincidentally are the type of people who pass the examination needed to even own the AK, so the type of people who would suddenly go on a killing spree because they got a gun would not even pass the examination needed to even be able to buy the gun, much less receiving a license to carry concealed fire arms.

It can be like "Oh hey I got an AK-47, one of the most dangerous rifles out there". When they grasp that gun in there hand, it can change there mindset totally.

I don't know how many times you have shot a firearm, but I've seen people who even paintballed and went all weird. Some people at the place I played even discussed on how paintballing makes them want to join the army and shoot people. That's an example right there. Now if a paintball gun can do that, what do you think a real gun is gonna do? A lot more. And as for your first question, they have a voucher correct? The person may use that to get anything from any gun store. I didn't realize he used "Ak-47" just as a reference. That was my mistake, but basically he's giving you money so you can go to a gun store and buy a weapon. It's funny how he chose one of the dangerous rifles as an attention getter.

Why is it that when somebody mentions some kind of weapon, everyone instantly thinks, "OMG MURDERING SPREE'S GONNA HAPPEN"

How about you all chill out. It's his business plan and he has proof that it works well, what happens happens, so be it.

Ok he is giving you the $400-$450 to buy the gun, but only after you buy a truck for $20,000+, so in reality if the people can afford the truck, but just want to get the gun why the hell would they pay an extra $19,550-19,600 that seems kinda dumb to me.

Dude you seem to think that they are going to be getting the AK's from the places that usually don't sell them. If a store wouldn't normally sell an AK-47 then giving it a voucher wouldn't make that store instantly be able to sell them a gun they don't have.

Honestly where would that gun come from? If it's not in a store's inventory you can't buy it OR get it with the voucher.

To redeem the voucher you have to drive to all of those gun shops you listed that carried the AK-47 because they are the ones that actually has them. Which means you might as well have not bought a truck.

However, they just thought to do it when they heard that it was a possibility and just lucked out. Which is the point of the promotion in the first place. To just get the opportunity to own an AK-47 for free if it all checks out.

And this is why the commercial is stupid in the first place because he's basically telling you to go and buy a gun.

I stated in my other post that the voucher wasn't just for an 'AK-47", sorry.

No he is not telling you to go buy a gun in any way. He is just offering it as a promotion if buy a truck. I don't even understand how he is telling to go buy a gun.

It only makes people "want" to any more than they would because they never think about it. Hell, this commercial is speaking to me that it is a good idea. I am now 18, and I work as a traveling salesman so I need to have some sort of protection.

Now if he were offering free TV's it would be the same concept. Just a different money amount. Seeing the commercial might make someone think, "Oh cool free TV I kind of want one, and I've been considering a new truck for a long time. Let's buy now."

Now swap the word TV with AK-47 or any other gun. Same exact fucking scenario.

So what? even if it did make some people want to buy guns, that was not it's intended purpose. I also want to know, whats wrong with having a gun? if you went through the proper legal channels, it shoud be perfectly acceptable.

As per your earlier comment about how playing paintball made them want to "Join the army and shoot people" that is really not conclusive of the people who will be receiving these voucher because 1. Your friends were probably just messing around, talking about doing something and actually doing it are two completely different things. 2. I know plenty of people who play paint ball and not ONE of them at any time has expressed the desire to shoot people with real guns simply because they used the the paintball gun.
                              3. There are tons of people who use real guns for sport, or have a gun for self defense, including several of my friends parents, and not a single one of them has suddenly wanted to go on a killing spree just because they held and fired a real gun.

I said it's a possibility, and it most likely has happened. Actually it did happen in my old neighborhood some time ago. A guy took a pistol and killed many people in a trailer park near me. For what reason, there was no reason. He killed innocent people for the hell of it.
