Well thanks for the gracious rating then . I'll have to try stepping some more "instrument heavy" stuff.

Also, lol @ B+. I'm a straight A student in school so a B+ would make me sad.

    I'm retired

Here's my file, it is more over the fun factor but yea I still want it judged even though its half a minute long and is a huge joke, I've only made a few of these ( my first one sucked, I think this is my fourth attempt ) so it might not be that good but let me know on what you think about my simfile I'll make a more serious one next time.

I'd appreciate if someone tried these:

You don't have to scan the whole thing for little technical errors (although more power to you if you do); I'm just mainly interested in what people think of them. If you feel something is out of place / dumb / epic / whatever, please, do tell.

EDIT: If you're going to point out pitch relevancy issues, be ABSOLUTELY SURE that I am wrong and you are right. ABSOLUTELY SURE. It is a total pet peeve of mine when people tell me my pitch relevancy is bad when it's not.

If you are too lazy to read the description on there, I would like to point out that it is not quite finished, but I will delete the unfinished version and add the finished one hopefully by the end of the week.

Hey there, I just made my first simfile ever for Flowing by the band 311, a song I love and I think the only simfile for it. I'm open to suggestions, since I'm a n00b. ;p
                  here's the download links:

play / rate my simfile. DONT JUST PLAY the first 5 SECONDS AND SAY OMG THIS IS BORING, as it gets fairly fast further into the song. My first simfile that i have actually tried on, using DDReam

for someone who used DDReam you're offset was off by A LOT. im not really to sure why you paused when you did and why you had stream when you did. some of the jacks made no sense its like you werent sure if you wanted to step the vocals or the guitar. i quit out 20 seconds in

that has to have been the most boring file i ever looked over in ddream. pattern choice is bad. replay value is 0 for me and your sync starts to go waaaaaaay off track at 347.3(this being the current second) i have no idea why you would choose to step the entire song. cut it down to like 2 minutes or something =/. song choice was also terrible for stepping too

                              dream theatre is cool though

In fact, I really don't trust too much in DDream studio. I only use it for the offset of the songs, but when I sync with that program, it inserts way too many BPM changes that make difficult to sync the song.
Also, I checked the sync at second 347.34, where that was supposed to be an 0.07 second offsync. I tried to correct it out with the help of DDream (set that beat to 347.41 from the last BPM change) and the result was an ugly offsync in Stepmania. At least at very low speeds (0.1x) the beat makes sense.

Although I really need some help with correcting the patterns, but can you detail that please?

EDIT: I've found the reason for the little offsync in my files: It's due a Stepmania 4 lag when slowdowning files, it's about 0,03 seconds.
