    lulz @ stepmania. It's like nearly impossible to press arrows. It just doesn't have that smoothness feel like FFR.

      Stepmania is way way smoother. Play a couple songs on stepmania and then come back to FFR and you'll see a difference.

            When i first started playing, i started off at x2 and played that easily. Also, to me it feels like FFR is like stepmania on Judge 3 (the default judge is 4). FFR feels much easier to get perfects on than stepmania. BTW, 160 boos on vertex beta is mashing :P

                You're right about the judge thing (that timing is pretty much about the same thing, which is why playing at judge 3 timing all the time in FFR will make your timing in stepmania worse)
