leonid: I posted a guide on Kongreguide a long time ago. But really, most of the map can be solved very quickly, and the idea is to get it to the "endgame" as fast as possible (where you have just a few pieces out of place that can't be readily swapped). There are a few simple tricks you can use to make the endgame a bit easier to solve.

Hm, well crap.

Anyways you generally want to take a second or two to skim the level itself. You want the higher numbers near the middle/in big open areas, and you want the lowered number things (like 1-3's) around the perimeters. Typically, corners are 3/4's, 2's only if you need to make a really longwinded chain. 3's and 4's are good for bridging between the perimeters and the large chunks of 4/5/6's. Try to fulfill the fixed-pieces early and don't touch anything around them after you do unless it's part of the endgame. The idea is to just swap pieces as fast as you can into the general areas of the map and then to start exchanging pieces to fulfill one another. Does this spot need a 5? Get a 5, etc. Do this until you come down to just a few pieces. Then some simple mental math can help you determine how to re-exchange pieces and reconstruct smaller areas to finish up the map.

Random update stuff...

went from 5 mil to 6 mil views in 12 days. the 450,000 or so views from Use Boxmen helped. did 100,000+ views for 6 out of 7 days (my first times ever doing 100k in a day).

Use Boxmen just passed Super Stacker 2 for my most viewed video... and it shows no signs of slowing down. It did over 50,000 views yesterday, and seems to be doing 50k or so today as well. My first video over 500,000. It'll probably get to 700k or so. Pretty cool.

Broke 4500 subbies.

262 total videos... 11 over 100,000. 29 over 50,000. 67 over 20,000. 107 over 10,000. 148 over 5,000. 207 over 2,000. 232 over 1,000. but, weak, 30 vids under 1000.

2 week follow-up to the above:

Went from 6-7 mil in JUST over 10 days. Hit 7 mil around 1-2am on 7/6. It's a bit over 4 days later and I'm at 7,520,000. Yes, been doing 120k+ or so the past 4 days. Use Boxmen was still going steady at 20k a day (although dropped to about 12k yesterday, so it's FINALLY dropping) and Fragger has been doing amazingly well. Plus Reemus 3.

Use Boxmen has been the #1 video in Gaming for the Month for the past week or so. Fragger Part 2 was the #1 video in Gaming for the day it was released.

Boxmen probably will hit 1 million views, eventually. It's at about 855k, so even if it flatlines today at 1000/day (which is around what SS2 and Foreign Creature do), it'll hit 1 mil in 6 months. I suspect it won't flatline today, but I doubt it'll hit 1 mil in the next month. Probably 2-3.

Broke 5000 subscribers. Sitting at 5170.

Started my own site... although haven't started drawing traffic to it yet. www.tasselfoot.com. Feedback appreciated.

274 videos (1 currently private): 17 over 100,000. 33 over 50,000. 77 over 20,000. 123 over 10,000. 163 over 5000. 221 over 2000. 245 over 1000. Meaning 29 are still under 1000... although 2 of them were uploaded 36 hours ago.

I wouldn't say MoneySiege is as hard as Meat Boy Map Pack, but it definitely is a welcome challenging game since badges lately have been pretty placid. And a milestone for me:



I'm just hoping the Ballstick high ping disconnection issue is resolved somehow, as I have no idea how I'm going to the badges other than taking a holiday to America... :/

And it looks like XGen are looking to provide more international servers for Ballstick, so I'm reasonably content. I still think the game was badged way to prematurely.
