Pump it up is easy...ddr is harder. Ddr has more chalanging of steps, where as pump it up has to make of less steps to incorperate the 5th.

Yeah i learned on a PIU machine first. I find it much better than DDR, cause of that middle step. You can have some crazy combos and stuff like on Beethovan Virus (Hard). And im starting to do the Double mode...fun.

lol.. i find pump it up soo much easier than ddr. i dont know why though, i knew ddr first.... but i guess that is just me.

i'm not really sure about what you guys say =) i live in a really um..."asian" area of nyc (no, not chinatown) so there's piu machines and also ddr machines.

ddr is CRAZY fast sometimes, like in the max's and that's why its so hard...lol, cuz ppl get so tired. piu seems easier to me almost...unless you're talking about extravaganza or something...then it's just really hard as well. ddr is all about speed and stamina but piu is more about freestyling...or at least that's what i think o'.'o

i learned ddr at first, and then went to piu..and when i went back to ddr, it seemed a lot easier ^_^

Pump! but no one here in korea (yes~ i live in korea) calls it pump it up o_O;;;
i remember when the first mix of pump came out~ XD i sucked so much at it
and the downtown area of my city had a arcade called "DDR Club" but the only thing it had were pump machines lol~ it cost W500 (alil less than $0.50) i thought that was so expensive x-x
so the koreans kept making new mixes of pump~ until the pump we have today which has ALL the songs it ever had~ i like the non-stop remixes they keep u going
ever played "She likes pizza" or something like that.. THAT SONG IS MAD HARD!! and so is that other crazy song that reminds u of paranoia from DDR~ well maybe i'll go down to the arcade tomorrow and play some pump (hehe) its been so long~ oh yea~ i didn't know they had an american verson of pump o_o;; the korean pump is in english (cept the song titles and the songs themselves) and there are alot of codes for pump~! just try different combinations of steps, but be careful not to select a song well~ thats enough of me blabbling~ good night ^^

pump is korean but i say that ddr isnt harder than pump but pump isnt harder than ddr it just depends on what one u play first cuz if u played pump first, than ddr is harder and vice versa. i played pump first and im starting to get into ddr but only a little.

are u guys f@!*in kiddin pump it up is a trillion and 1 better then ddr it has better freestyle moves then ddr and dont get me wrong i lik ddr a little ( its better then Ez2dancer wich is gay hahaha and pump has a better challenge then any other ddr song like legend of maxx winter is harder then that hahaha and u dont have to pay double just to get play double mode

omg yes pump it up is obviously korean. I dont get why they put american songs in pump it up. It RECKS THE TRUE BACKGROUND OF THE GAME. KOREAN SONGS, THE BEST IN PUMP IT UP. I BET i can beat all of u in pump it up
