I wouldn't say I love 'em but they're alright. I enjoy their texture contribution to a sandwich when coupled with mayo or some other sauce (such as in a BLT); they are great additions to salad and I couldn't live without tomato-based sauce. I'm not a huge fan of them by themselves, however.

How is it possible to hate tomatoes? Unless you're allergic. Then you'd hate them for being so diverse and delicious but you can't have them.

I mean, red sauce, stuffed tomatoes, right off the vine, warmed from the Sun, and eaten like an apple? And so much more, all sooo good.

I can understand not like the texture of the seeds and surrounding gel-like whatever or the graininess of overripe tomatoes but garden or farm-fresh tomatoes are amazing. Not to mention heirloom tomatoes.

I can't understand hating tomatoes.

I like tomatoes, so I don't know what's wrong with all you tomato-hating fags.

I agree ketchup is nasty. Most of the vitamins you would get from a raw tomato are gone anyways. It's all vinegar. Although you do get lycopene.

the fda still considers ketchup a vegetable in the school lunch program. BTW for those that didn't know the same program does Prison food as public school food.

I can't eat tomatoes. I just can't stand the texture. I love salsa with tomatoes, I love ketchup, but when it comes to actual tomatoes, **** that.

Then again, there are few foods that I actually dislike.
