dpi means dot per inch. Changing dpi just means making the image smaller or larger (larger with fewer dots per inch and smaller with more dots per inch) Really low dpi would make the picture have too few dots in between for it to look good, and if the image was scaled larger so it could be printed at 300dpi or even 200dpi it would be really blocky or blurry. It would be best to have it redone.

He knows how to do it. He just didn't. I'm sure everyone stuck with the default 72dpi.

Oops, I pm'd also but I didn't explain how to do it. It's ok to stick with 72dpi though if you know the right dimensions pixel wise instead of inch wise.

Re: Need a CD Cover and Back done

If your cd case is 1.287 inches wide and 1.277 inches high, then it would be, but standard cd cases are much bigger than that. I'm not meaning to be rude by saying that, I'm just saying what the size of an image that size printed in 300dpi would be. I'm not really sure off the top of my head what the normal size for cd covers are, and I don't have a ruler around to figure out what it would be, but I'm pretty sure the images in my link posted earlier are the correct size.

Guess they all skipped that section.

I looked it up, the dimensions should be 1425 x 1425 assuming the cover is the regular square 4.75" size.
