Look at me. I couldn't give a damn about precision, and I love all of my sims because I make them fun. With the R8U Rave Medley Nonstop is coming I'm leaving a LOT of quiet background shit out but I don't care.

Well, in most "keyboard-style" rhythm games (every single one except Stepmania, pretty much >_>), the songs with the most "technically sound" notecharts are generally viewed as the most fun. Since I play a lot of these games, and so do people like Hayden and Arch, technically sound often translates into fun. Of course, there's a level of simple pleasure to it, as well; which is why one must choose which sounds to follow. I'd say your simfiles are generally very technically sound, as well; Galaxy Bang Bang's 32nd runs, for example? Those seem to go against the point you're trying to get across. The 32nds in GBB aren't "fun" for me at all, but in my opinion, GBB is still a 10/10, because the 32nds were indeed following an aspect in the music. I'm not entirely sure why this is a case to argue about, because by playing your simfiles, I know that you are also a person who doesn't just put random arrows in a simfile. Hell, you even complained about Joe's V3, which is "fun," I suppose, in that it has a lot of "interesting" 16th runs and jump patterns, but you knew that it was a bad simfile because of all of the unnecessary arrows.

And, um, Evilpeer, I wasn't the one who said "you say that as if cynic's snow steps are actually good". Hayden was.

Please don't get us mixed up. And I remember your guitar part in Snapps's The Least 100sec - I thought it was brilliant. It was (as the term has already been used so much) very technically sound, and I really thought it was genius. If I had stepped The Least 100sec, I would have probably ignored the guitar riffs in favor of the drums in that part, which is why I thought it was so neat. I just find it odd that you would say something like

1.5x on Reach's Quasar is just retarded. Everyone knows that. Eggmans is pure streams, that's why it's played on higher music rates compared to Reach's. It's like playing OML on higher BPM rates. Understand?

I'm not saying you should put random arrows in a simfile, I'm just saying that putting arrows to every possible sound does not guarantee fun (e.g. GBS Oni and TalM Oni), and I'm not willing to put in *that* much effort into something if it will turn out to not be fun. And obviously it doesn't never work (Tell Me a Story Oni snaps to mind instantly).
