no, u just said bowser's challenge was a decent simfile to be played on a tournament.

No, though I would rather it be in the tournament, I never full out said it would be great for this, instead I was asking questions as to why it was taken out. Like I've said, you just get defensive and didn't answer my questions.

bowser's challenge can only be finished by pros, and this tournament have to be played by a lot of people.

I agree that it can only be finished by pros. Guess what, it is probably my favorite song from that pack. I can understand if there are people who are mad because they can't pass it. Surprise surprise, there have been many tournaments that I've been in where I couldn't pass the songs right away either. So... I practiced until I could scrape by and get the job done. This didn't always put me through to the next round, but at least I was able to do the song.

Once again, I never said your rules were ****. I did question as to why you have certain rules, and I asked for your reasoning, but like I've said a few times now, you just got defensive and wouldn't explain it. I'm not trying to just be an asshole, but I would like to know why you are doing the things that you're doing.

it's not like if we could take 5000 simfiles on this tournament. i just chose known packs because all people know them.

I would hope not. I actually liked how you picked 2 pretty well known packs and told people that is all that we're playing.

What makes a file unplayable? I agree that if a file is unplayable that it should not be part of a tournament, but how are these things characterized? If you set the standard, or at least explained why you are stating that a file is unplayable, there wouldn't be a problem. There might be some criticism, but that's also personal opinion. You are the one running this, so it is ultimately your choice as to what goes on.

I never said that there was. I like how your using this to prove that you know what you're doing, and it helps your case that you've done this before and it turned out well. But again, all I've been doing is questioning why you are doing the things that you are doing. Is that really too much?

u just play this tournament to have fun with the allowed simfiles. not to be bored by simfiles like bowser's challenge.

Who says that I would be bored because of Bower's Castle? Or just a counterpoint, who says I wouldn't be bored by some of the other files? It is the different files in these packs, like Bower's Castle, that change things up so that you are not playing the same damn thing every round.

yeah i try to make a world tournament, but it will be surely not PERFECT like you, because you are always perfect and better than people like me. maybe you'll do perfect rules with a perfect selection of simfiles, but that's not the spirit of this tournament.

I'm not perfect, far from it in fact. I don't want to run another tournament. I've done that already. Guess what, I didn't do a perfect job, but I got it done. I don't expect you to do a perfect job either, but if there are places that I can help you to improve, I don't see why I shouldn't help. I know when and where I screwed up, and that was not letting people know what I wanted before I started the whole thing. Explaining everything beforehand, regardless if they are going to read it is almost everything. If you have a sound plan and a good setup, everything should run smoothly.



Now, before this turns into a flame war. Please, all that I ask is that you answer my original questions. Is it really that hard for you to do? I mean, hell, I've thought about signing up, except that right now, I don't like the way that this is run because you won't answer those questions. So I ask you again, Why are those files forbidden?

fake simfiles
OR / AND
bad stepped

Hey zeb, once you figure out all the songs you want in this tournament, i can throw everything in a pack and upload it for you if you want. I think that would be more conveniant than memorizing all the forbiddin files.
