I have two habits that usually Screw me up whilst i play the game.

One includes my hands, raising up off the desk, into the air, and making it harder for me to concentrate, and when i finally realize this, i attempt to place them gently back down, and end up messing up.

The second one starts off with me looking at the song time.
And for some reason, i look at the clock in the lower right hand corner of my laptop, to see how long i am into the song.
I try as hard as i can to glance at it while at a pause in the song, but then a note always tends to sneak its way past, and in turn, i get a miss/boo.

I just tap the arrows and be done with it. If I try tapping my foot, I usually get like a good or something.

My most common habit is my arm severely tensing up during hard songs - so much that I usually can't play over two or so minutes out of sheer pain.

^ ^ This. Though with me, its on any song lvl 5 or w/e and higher.
ATM, my wrist is sore, and when I play, I get a shooting pain up the side and top of my arm, and my wrist throbs. Guess it doesn't help that I play one handed.

I also find that I don't blink, and sometimes forget to breathe.
I'm sure neither are good.

I tend to blink a lot, and sometimes I hit the keys really hard if I'm pissed, or it's a really fun file.

OMFG. Lofl. I have this thing, I have some part of my body in a certain way, like a big toe up in the air, then i focus on my toe instead of the song whilst trying to put it down, and i screw up.

I get this so bad on constant fast stream/jumpstream. (Over 210bpm) My right hand only gets it though; it locks up and I have to shake my hand/wrist to make my fingers move back comfortably.

I don't get pain up my arm, just bad in my right wrist. My left hand never gets it likely because it's not as good as my right =x

I sometime dance and move around or tap my foot. Oh and I rarely blink.

when i'm playing something really intense/mashy (like red sign or earthquake, stepmania lol), i tend to move my tongue reaally fast side to side in my mouth ~___~ it's weird and i don't notice i'm doing it

nevertheless, when im playing FMOs or FGOs or trying to AAA a song, right before the song is done loading, i say "Lets do it Bobby" in the voice from the waterboy

I'm Chuck Norris. I don't have bad habits, but all 1,273,230 of my previous keyboards had the habit to break every time I hit a key.

i have a habit of vibrating my foot when i have it under me, or bounce my leg uncontrolably
