Well it depends on the fights and the mana you have available (mana you have equal = gems, pots, Evocations and possible innervates - i doubt this one, along with Shadow priest and shaman totems blessing of wisdom and a pally to judge wisdom on a boss.)
Ok so on trash....no rotation just Arcane Blast Spam....if the person is lucky to catch a clearcast hit AM but dont stop an AB cast almost done to AM a clearcast...major loss of DPS.
On bosses - I will normally do this rotation AFTER - I arcane blast spam down to a little under half mana at the beginning of the fight....once that's done I pot and gem up then I start ABx3, AM, pause a tick (outside of the 5 sec rule for mana regen then repeat (of course catching a 1.5 sec AB for the cost of one with no debuff) If I get a lot of mana back *IE I am running around avoiding VR arcane bolts or Shatters from gruul or whatever instead of pausing for that tick I cast scorch. So it looks like ABx3,AM,scorch. If you get a CC while casting AM, Cast AM again...no questions asked. Also adding a scorch gives you a good chance to proc a CC and in this case instead of going back to the AB hit AM and get some chewy crit loving from Arcane potency.
The thing is depending on how well you know the fight and your mana and your resources you can change this up. In the last 20% or so and depending on your mana AB spam til the wheels fall off!
