As much of a pad file artist you are, Gpop, with all honesty you have absolutely no experience in stepping keyboard files so your point is completely from a biased point of view. I've played your keyboard files before and they aren't any better or accurate than the majority of Kommisar's files or let alone what would be a standard/average keyboard file. In particular, his Cirno file was pretty fun and accurate so I am not sure what you're questioning about his file unless you post an in-depth review and/or explanation on what you're talking about.

I normally don't come out of the blue and assault people to start drama because that's just completely dumb, but your statement did really bug me for you had no clear evidence or support for your claim.

Just want to point out that this isn't a KB pack. It's clearly a pad pack.

But yeah, I can point out some parts, but in all honesty that isn't my biggest grudge against it.

IT'S THOSE SHORT HOLDS THAT LASTS FOR ONLY A 16TH NOTE, THOSE DOUBLE TAPPING HOLDS. This is not necessary in pad files whatsoever. Maybe in KB files for emphasis, but definitely not necessary in pad files. It defeats the purpose of a hold to, you know, HOLD DOWN THE NOTE. If it's too short, any small tap can hit it.

You know what, arguing won't go anywhere. A lot of people are changing their perspectives on pad files. It's Mint's decision in the end. He's the judge, he handles the files, and he makes the final decision. I'm not going to argue with the boss either.

So yeah, brb stepping GfA.

EDIT: Also, bpm changes didn't seem necessary for me =/.

they're there for artful purposes and they follow certain melodies or pianers or whatever. not to diss you but i've been making files for years both pad and kb. short holds are just as pointless in kb and they accentuate melodies or different sounds. again you challenge a dark chancellor

actually i was just upset that someone said my file wasn't accurate. my pad files aren't that good but they're certainly no dumps.

Yeah...sorry if I angered you Kommi. I seriously didn't try to set off some drama here or anything.

It's just that those short holds doesn't seem to fit in pad files in my standards. It's a grudge I had in the first Touhou Pad Pack, and some songs in ER. It's also why my files never had such short holds =/.

Ah well, opinions opinions. Let's get back to stepping, shall we?
