uhhh the bar is a safety measure so that you don't fall backwards and crack your head open

technically, according to official rules for both pump and DDR you are automatically disqualified if you touch the bar during play

ITG is the only game that a score is officially legit if you use the bar. Now, I'm not an anti-bar person because I use it a lot but technically anyone complaining about bar use in DDR and PIU have a legitimate beef.

I may not play those kinds of dancing gaems, but how is using the bar cheating? The general idea of the bar is so that you can proceed to stomp the **** out of the machine (thus soothing your inner rage) without tripping and falling on your ass (thus fueling your inner rage and disrespect for people around you).
