@ Numi: You know my views on how the tourney should be run; an extra round hardly seems necessary, though. The new system should work better as it is actually challenging.

@ master q60: Perhaps the score wasn't good enough? My score was 275 off, not sure as to what your score was.

@ silvercomet: I got Viennacore 2nd try :P ... at least your PA is more consistent and waaaay better than my PA right now. I can 'feel' the song better, though, and hopefully my Good count will be dropping

If you remember, recently the tournament had its first elimination of someone who actually submitted. Three were eliminated, actually. Yours wasn't good enough to stay in.

For future reference, if you or Fractal (happen to) find the time to improve your scores, I would be willing to split the prize to 27,500 each. If this is agreeable to you, get a SS of 632150.

Good job Chrysalis. I'm proud of you. I was really surprised you got the exact score.
As for competition, Fractal said he gave up, so now that you gave silver the exact score and how to get it, with just over 24 hours left in the tourney, IT'S ON!!!

Good job to fractal and silvercomet... they both got perfect scores every Round as well (except this one).

It was quite a feat when you got the exact score on this. I'm quite proud of you. I was honestly expecting Silver to win. The final standings are:
1.Dark Chrysalis (Won 35,000 credits!)
2.silvercomet1525(Won 20,000 credits!)
3.Fractal_Monkey(Won 6,938 credits!)

I hope everyone had tons of fun ^_^
The new round starts now and will end March 31st @ 11:59:59 PM EST. Remember this round isn't actually here to be part of the tourney, its to get feedback on how my next tourney should be run.

The rules for this one round are:
Get as close to my score as possible. Go for amount of Perfects, goods, etc.
EXAMPLE
I get 100-100-100-100-100
You get 99-99-99-99-99
For every perfect, good, average, miss and boo you are off from my score, you will get one point. You do NOT want points. Lowest score wins. Similar to golf. Anyway, with that score, you'd have a total of 5 points.
Pretty simple.

Song is Mario Eurobeat, score is 255-87-13-20-11.
PM me your scores. (BTW I'm not updating the main post.)

Anyone who was in the tournament can participate. I'll PM Bolth Mann, Crysalis, silver, and Fractal at a minimum.

Well, unfortunately I was really busy lately... I didn't even have the time to play FFR at all for the past few days. Also, I'll be "out of town" until Monday, so I won't be able to participate in this extra round either.

I'm fine with 20,000 credits though, so I guess it didn't really matter to me that I couldn't pull off another perfect score. I mainly just wanted to be able to play World Tour 2004 again, and now I can.

Congrats to Chrysalis and Fractal, and thanks to Numi for this great tournament!

Wish I had uber credits like that... on that note, Numi, my profile has a profound lack of credits... haven't sent them yet I'm assuming. Maybe waiting for Extra Round to end?

In any case, I'll give it a shot, though it seems a little tough to do right now. I imagine a score like that would be for later rounds, yes?

Yes. Scores like the one I posted would be for much later in the tournament. I'm sending the credits in a minute or two. I haven't been on the past few days. Sorry it took so long.
