ROUND 6 STARTS NOW. Just so ya know.

1,122 - 24 - 1 - 53 - 18 with a grand total of 894,965 on Comfort Betrays. It's substantially harder than everything else so far (Except for the whole thing with Survive on 3x) but it's later in the tourney, so I figure people here could likely handle a little more on their plates. The max combo was only like, 280 though. So the deadline is...in 30 seconds. Well, looks like you're too late! ELIMINATED!

HEY EVERYONE! There's a problem.

I checked the bumber of people in the tourney, and there's 5 more than there should be. I'm thinking of adding one more round with a 5 person elimination, so that we we can carry out with the final round as previously planned. Okay?

By the way, that game now applies to next round. That guess whoever passes this round thing for 500 credits. Well, change that to whoever passes the final round. Ten bucks says Dark_Chrysalis already won that.

Oh wow... it's much worse than that...

Numi, the 5 names in red are ALL in the top half of the list as well... looks like that's where the 5 extra people came in.

silvercomet and I both know how the scoring system works, so getting a specific low score on a given easy song is going to be quite easy for us. It should really be obtainable by anyone who can AAA the given song, which right now isn't hard and doesn't take anywhere near the skill levels required in almost any other tournament.

No-one claims that no skill is needed, but it requires less FFR skill and (slightly) more planning skill. Oh, and if two or three people hit the exact target all the way through the tourney I'm assuming that Numi will notice this and select harder songs, or add in mods like he said.

You may have missed this post, but yeah. Dark_Chrysalis probably understands it too, but he hasn't posted a score yet? It does seem like the rounds have been getting steadily harder to get the exact score on though, which may be why Fractal didn't get +0 this round.

I feel like a complete sped. That would be how those 5 extras appeared. Wow. Lemme go fix that.

Sorry everyone. Carry on as usual. And if someone doesn't mind, please tell me how the scoring system works? I mean, I know perfect=50 good=25 average=10 or 15 miss =-10 and boo=-5, but I don't know otherwise.

Alright then, simple formula time:

Total Score = 1000*MaxCombo + 550*Perfects + 275*Goods + 55*Averages - 310*Misses - 20*Boos

I had discussed this with Numi before... his intent with this tournament was to have people try and duplicate the actual stepcounts, like purposefully getting 10 Goods, 2 Averages, 3 Misses and whatnot without worrying about the end score or Max Combo or anything. However, the way the rules are posted implies that it's the Total Score you're supposed to match, regardless of the notes you hit.

If ever he were to do another tournament like this, I'm sure he would implement the first idea...

I had noticed this as well... whether it was intentional or not, the scores definitely took me longer to get each round. Except the 1st Round, where I actually 100% emulated the score. That took forever XD
