    As I said in an earlier post, she should call 411. If she could dial 911, she can dial directory assistance (a very basic function of phones) and have them give her the appropriate number. And if that wouldn't have worked, I don't have a problem with her causing a fuss and making McDonald's fix their garbage so their PR doesn't get out of hand, but she didn't need to call 911 to do that.

    Also, the law does tend to change with respect to the magnitude of a crime. Seriously, what are you arguing?

                                                        Mal: Seriously? "Who else was she going to call?" She could have called anyone. A non-emergency line. She could have talked to management. She could have even called a friend if she wasn't sure. Resorting to the emergency line is not really justifiable. Ignorance of your options doesn't make the wrong option the right one.
