My parents would never oblidge of me going to another state for "a mindless game". Unless it was like in/near the Dallas area, then I could "convince" them to take me.

I think it should be somewhere in the center of the country so people wouldn't have to go all the way across the country to get there. Ohio is good, or maybe Chicago, St. Louis, or Iowa (though I don't know of any Conventions in Iowa).

Another FFR convention thread where everyone says where they live so they can easily get to it.

Anyway, I'd need a pretty good alibi to get away from my parents THAT long without being noticed, and either way, I still won't be able to go because I have no way of getting there. IF the covention is still in Ohio, there's a really small chance that I can actually go.
