Sync has a lot of crossovers in it. Sync, V, and Rythm and Police probably have the most, or at least out of the nine footers. Sync is confusing because there are crossovers before a single gallop, on the single gallops, and sometimes you end a small stream of 8ths with a crossover, and have to stay in that position for the next part. You just have to be able to read it and you have to be able to tell when to do crossovers.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't remember any crossovers in So Deep. Just lots of gallops and stuff.

Yeah, I think So Deep has no crossovers in Heavy. In Standard I remember it being more jumpy than anything and I don't remember it at all in Light

Can't Stop Fallin' In Love Speed Mix Heavy has some simple and awesome crossovers in the intro and ending. The middle, not so much.

Now THAT is a good idea. The current lesson modes are terrible, either improve on them or take them out. You're not going to find any crossovers worth doing on beginner, though.
Yeah, they're not worth doing, but since it's really slow a Beginner could actually follow the crossover and learn good form. I was playing heavy without crossovera before. Then I decided to do some light songs, learned crossovers, and then built back up to Heavy with "proper" techique.

Wowie. I got to 10s without crossovers, went back to 7s and 8s with crossovers (if they had any, I could still annihilate Dead End and whatnot), and built my way back up in like a month. Now I can actually play things like Can't Stop Falling In Love Speed Mix and have fun with them. Thank God for crossovers

              RE: Exotic Ethnic

Ugh, Exotic Ethnic has a TON. That song is fricking HARD. I hate that song for being too hard. I think it drains a lot more stamina than Sakura.

What about hard stuff like 42682?

Those are almost impossible unless you're set up perfectly.

The only way to do them is to change your position so that your left foot is on down and your right foot in on right. You can figure it out from there.
those spins are friggin easy. as long as u can focus ur eys back on the arrows really quick after the spin
why must the world of DDR be looked upon as so ghay from people that have never played it?

wtf it's not that big of a spin...

                  4 - right foot.
                  2 - left foot.
                  6 - right foot.
                  8 - left foot.
                  2 - right foot.

Alot of songs drain more stamina then Sakura, I find sakura easier then some 8 footers lmao. And yeah I'd have to agree Exotic Ethnic is hard, constant crossovers so it's sortof similar to Rhythm and Police, except obviously faster and without the gallops.

Most tiring song in me opinion (not ten footer): No clue

Yeah, I know, that has no point in being posted, but whatever.

My guess would be cartoon heroes or can't stop falling in love speed mix. There could be more that I just can't think of right now...

I was thinking of Cartoon Heroes. Probably more that I think about it though... Twilight Zone, Matsuri Japan, or HVAM.

Yea, I think HVAM is the most tiring. I learned to play all the way up to heavy, and then we had a tournament. I lost horribly because my PA was uber ugly all because I couldn't crossover. Now, I love songs with crossovers. Rhythm and Police is definitely my favorite for crossovers.

That's odd. Matsuri Japan is widely considered one of the easiest 9-footers at our arcade. Oh well, this is just an opinion after all.

Sync oni and Stoic are pretty hard, too. Stoic is like a harder version of DXY!, which a lot of people thought should've been a 9.

HVAM, any crossover is possible if you're set up right, but you usually aren't unless you play ahead of time, which some people do. Spinning just doesn't seem like much of an option unless it's something like Frozen Ray (For Extreme).

The best way to PA HVAM is to do double steps minus a few crossovers imo. The spins aren't worth the risk and will likely screw up your PA.
